Edward Scissorhands postcard

I bought this Edward Scissorhands postcard from London in 2012. Can't remember the shop I found this from but we bought a bunch of movie postcards at the same time, my husband got for example postcards of Jaws, Nosferatu, Taxidriver, Alien and Leatherface. I plan on decorating one wall in our bedroom with these framed postcards.

Match Girl & Stick Boy postcard

I got this Match Girl & Stick Boy postcard about a week ago, but I had to go buy the frame so I couldn't get the photo before that. This one is also from The World of Tim Burton exhibition held in Hong Kong. I still haven't been able to visit any of those exhibitions so this one is bought from eBay for 6€. I really hope that someday they will have the exhibition in some country in Europe so I would have time and money to travel there and finally see it. I'm pretty sure they will never bring it to Finland :/

Corpse Bride DVD Box Set

Corpse Bride DVD box set arrived today! The set includes the basic DVD, The Illustrated Story -book and a set of postcards. I got this set for about 5 euros.

Corpse Bride - The Illustrated Story is a good quality paperback published by Newmarket Press in 2005. Text by Mark Salisbury.

There are also 8 postcards which are slightly bigger than normal postcard size. I really love these because the photos are not the most used ones from the movie. For example there is postcard of Scraps hiding under Elder Gutknecht's books.

Blue Girl with Wine -postcard

And the last item of this week is Blue Girl with Wine -postcard. This painting by Tim Burton is my absolute favourite, it is just so beautiful. Also this came from Hong Kong for about 5 euros.

I also got some postcards again this week. This one is The Green Man. I paid about 5€ for this postcard. I framed it and I'll hang it on the wall next to other ones.

Few days ago I also got second set of postcards from The World of Tim Burton exhibition held in Hong Kong. I found a seller from eBay who had several of these postcards for sale and I already got two (Vincent and The Oyster Boy) cards about a week ago. So this time I got also two cards of which one was The Red Queen sketch by Tim Burton. Postcard arrived to me as new, sealed in package but I opened it to frame it and hang it on the wall.

So here's the other postcard I got from Hong Kong. I saw this and I had to get it because I LOVE the Vincent animation and the story. It is my all time favourite from Tim Burton.
      Once I even watched the short film so many times that I actually remembered the poem in my sleep from word to word!

The Oyster Boy postcard

I bought these two postcards via eBay from Hong Kong couple of weeks ago. These were sold at The World of Tim Burton Exhibition and someone was selling these on eBay so I had to get them since the exhibition will most likely never happen in Finland. The story of Oyster Boy is one of my favourites and I love these grayscale drawings by Tim Burton.
      I also bought a postcard with a drawing of Vincent, that will be in the following post. I'm going to put these both on the wall and I actually have to reveal that I already bought two more of these postcards, but I won't tell what they are before they arrive!

Mars Attacks! postcard

Today I received this amazing Mars Attacks! postcard from Japan. I already have another postcard with a different picture which I bought from London some years ago. I already framed the postcard so I can get it on the wall with other ones.

Tim Burton's Holiday Card Set

I'm really behind with updating this blog, but since I have rest of the week off from work I have time to do my best updating my blogs.
      This was actually a birthday present (so I got this already in February) from my husband. There is two of these postcard sets on sale and I had wished for either one. The one I got is the Holiday Edition with X-massy cards, other one is Valentine's Edition with love themed postcards.

The set comes in a box with the same cover picture as The Art of Tim Burton books. There are six different illustrations, two pieces of each so 12 postcards altogether and the envelopes for every one of them. Also each of them is folded so you could write your greetings inside. As a collector I will never use these, but I still had to have them.
