Edward Scissorhands DVD

Back again!
Been really busy with everything else again, but finally I had some extra money to invest on my collection and also now I have time to update older items that have been missing from here.

So since new purchases are still on their way, first some older items.

Edward Scissorhands DVD with Finnish cover. Nothing special about this one, just basic DVD purchased a long time ago and cannot remember the price anymore, but value nowadays is just about 2-5€.

Edward Scissorhands soundtrack 12" vinyl

Back again! Just a couple of new items since last Autumn, but I will try and start posting here more often. Still many old items that are not posted here.

So in November I visited in Helsinki and went to Levykauppa Äx record store and found TWO Tim Burton movie soundtracks on vinyl from there! I have already (almost) every soundtrack on CD so now I have been focusing on vinyls but these are difficult to find.

Edward Scissorhands soundtrack 12" vinyl was one of them. This is not original version, but the remastered version from 2015 by Geffen Records. Just a basic edition with two sides. I paid about 17€ for this.

Edward Scissorhands fridge magnets

These are also old ones, I bought these via huuto.net about 6-7 years ago. Edward Scissorhands fridge magnets with poster photos. These are probably made by just someone, not official movie merch. Cannot recall how much I paid for these, but probably just a few euros each.

Edward Scissorhands figure by Mezco

Then back to something old:

This Edward Scissorhands figure is made by Mezco in 2005. I bought this from another collector via huuto.net years ago and it came without any package or accessories. Though I think this should have a brown dog with him and there also seems to be other variants of the same figure: one with "people" clothes on and also one that looks like it would be made out of ice. The series also has a Vincent Price figure that I would really love to get for my collection! So the hunt is on.

Edward Scissorhands postcard

I bought this Edward Scissorhands postcard from London in 2012. Can't remember the shop I found this from but we bought a bunch of movie postcards at the same time, my husband got for example postcards of Jaws, Nosferatu, Taxidriver, Alien and Leatherface. I plan on decorating one wall in our bedroom with these framed postcards.

Edward Scissorhands playing cards

Yay, some of my latest eBay purchases arrived!
       First one up is Edward Scissorhands DVD box with playing cards. This one is UK version, basic DVD with playing cards in tinbox. Cards are quite funny looking because they are squere and not the typical shape. I already have one or two DVDs of this movie but I really wanted the cards so I bought the whole box. I paid about 15€ for this.

Edward Scissorhands comicbook

This may come as news for you - at least I had no idea about this - but there has been made few comicbooks about Edward Scissorhands! It is written by Kate Leth and the artwork is done by Drew Rausch. Cover by Gabriel Rodriguez.
     The one I got is issue #1 and the cover is black and white. For this first issue there are also three other cover choices. Altogether there are five issues of Edward Scissorhands comics done so far and you can buy them here.

 The story begins from where the movie ended and these comicbooks sort of continue the story from there. In my opinion, if Tim Burton would continue the story of Edward it wouldn't go like the one in these comicbooks. Though it's funny to see one version of how someone else thinks it could go.

 I bought this one just to see what is it like and though the plot is not so much to my liking I really do like the drawing style in this, it's nice and gloomy. I probably need to buy all the rest of these too.

New Edward Scissorhands

Hello again! Here's my newest acquisition for Edward Scissorhands collection. I found him via eBay from UK about a month ago. This one is much more real-looking than the other one I have in my collection so I'm very happy I got this now :)

Edward Scissorhands poster. This is the regular poster size and now I have this in frames on my bedroom wall. I bought this from a facebook flea market group just a couple of days ago. I think this cost me 5€ and I went to pick it up so no shipping costs.
