Voodoo Girl Book & Figure Box Set

FINALLY I GOT IT! The last Tragic Toys item that was missing from my collection for ages is now finally mine!

So yesterday I came back hom from a mini vacation in Turku and on my way home went to pick up some packages from post office and there is finally was:

Voodoo Girl Book & Figure Box Set by Dark Horse in 2004. Set includes a Voodoo Girl figure and The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy hardcover book. I bought this via eBay from the USA. It was expensive but I had to have it. In total with selling price, shipping and customs I paid about 65€ for this one.

But now my Tragic Toys collection is complete!

Match Girl & Stick Boy postcard

I got this Match Girl & Stick Boy postcard about a week ago, but I had to go buy the frame so I couldn't get the photo before that. This one is also from The World of Tim Burton exhibition held in Hong Kong. I still haven't been able to visit any of those exhibitions so this one is bought from eBay for 6€. I really hope that someday they will have the exhibition in some country in Europe so I would have time and money to travel there and finally see it. I'm pretty sure they will never bring it to Finland :/

The Oyster Boy postcard

I bought these two postcards via eBay from Hong Kong couple of weeks ago. These were sold at The World of Tim Burton Exhibition and someone was selling these on eBay so I had to get them since the exhibition will most likely never happen in Finland. The story of Oyster Boy is one of my favourites and I love these grayscale drawings by Tim Burton.
      I also bought a postcard with a drawing of Vincent, that will be in the following post. I'm going to put these both on the wall and I actually have to reveal that I already bought two more of these postcards, but I won't tell what they are before they arrive!

The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories paperback

This one I bought from England in 2007 while visiting there on vacation. I can't recall where I exactly found it from but it was some big record/book store probably in Nottingham. It says £7,99 printed on the back so that's most likely what I paid for it back then. This paperback version is published by Faber & Faber in 2005.

The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories hardcover

I think I may have found this years and years ago from a local secondhand bookshop for 5€ or something like that. This book is precisely the same as the paperback edition but with black buckram covers. This is published by Rob Weisbach Books in 1997.

Stick Boy's Festive Season

Once again I got a new item for my collection. This one was a present as well as many other books I have gotten lately. So this is The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories - Stick Boy's Festive Season -edition harcover book. Yes, it is exactly the same book as the other two that I have, only the cover is a bit different and it has this extra title. But as a collector I had to have it anyway.
     The pages of this book are the exact same as the other versions, so I won't add photos here. Only the back page of the book with description of Tim Burton with a sketch.
