Planet of the Apes DVD

Planet of the Apes DVD. This one is 2 disc collector's edition featuring behind the scenes material, music video, commentaries, photo galleries and a lot more bonus stuff. I got this DVD from my parents ages ago.

This one is actually my least favourite of all Tim Burton movies and I have seen this only once, mayb e I should give it another try and watch this again.

Planet of the Apes paperback

And the third item that arrived from the UK was Planet of the Apes paperback by Pierre Boulle. Published in 2001 (this film tie-in book) by Penguin Books. Story in the book is the original but the cover art is from the Planet of the Apes (2001) movie. I got this one also for 5€ including shipping and the condition okay, with normal wear as the book is used.

Planet of the Apes soundtrack

I have bought this Planet of the Apes soundtrack many years ago from eBay. I think I should watch this movie again sometime, because this has always been my least favourite Burton movie so maybe watching it again would change my mind or at least I wouldn't dislike the movie so much.

Planet of the Apes

Today I visited The Good Fellows Comics Store in Helsinki and found some great books and comics that I had get. One of those was Planet of the Apes Re-imagined by Tim Burton -book so I got my first piece of Planet of the Apes stuff to my Burton collection - well if you don't count the soundtrack and the DVD that I already have. This book cost 20€ but I haven't seen it sold anywhere in Finland before so there was no way I would have left it there. It is published by Newmarket Press in 2001 invluding the screenplay, movie stills, illustrations, behind the scenes photos and drawing by Tim Burton.
