Corpse Bride & Victor Commemorative 2 Pack

Corpse Bride & Victor - Commemorative 2 pack by McFarlane Toys. The set includes Corpse Bride, Victor and Scraps, each with their own stands. Figures have poseable arms, legs and heads. I bought this set from another Tim Burton collector some years ago via huuto.net. Can't recall the exact price since I bought this with some other items as a package but I think I paid around 20-40€ for this commemorative pack.

It is mine! I made an unbelieve find from adlibris.com - I stumbled upon The Nightmare Before Christmas version on the boardgame Clue (or Cluedo) on their site and it was only about 30€ with free shipping! Of course I ordered it immediately and now it has arrived. I have seen this game on eBay but the prices have been quite high with shipping costs so I have been trying to find this elsewhere for lower price.

The game contents: custom game board, 6 suspect movers, 6 personality cards, 21 rumor cards, 21 intrigue cards, custom Clue sheet, envelope, 6 items, 2 dice and rules.

This version of the game was made in 2016 by USAopoly and licensed by Hasbro. There is also a Hot Topic Exclusive version available.

Skeleton Boy and Girl - Series 2

Skeleton Boy and Girl - Series 2 Corpse Bride action figure. Made by McFarlane in 2005. I bought this from eBay years ago, I think the price was about 20€ including shipping.The set comes with a stand, skeleton girl, skeleton boy and some toys.

Skeleton Band Leader - Series 2

Skeleton Band Leader from Corpse Bride Series 2 by McFarlane. I bought this as used from eBay years ago. I have lost the background paper he is supposed to have, but otherwise the figure is still in great condition with poseable arms.

General Wellington - Series 1

General Wellington - Corpse Bride Series 1 by McFarlane. Made in 2005. Poseable arms and head. Bought from eBay as new in the original box.

Dwarf General - Series 1

Dwarf General - Corpse Bride Series 1. Made also by McFarlane Toys. Great quality with poseable arms and removable sword. I have bought this from eBay, can't remember the price anymore though.

Mayhew - Series 2

Mayhew action figure from Corpse Bride Series 2. I have bought this from eBay as new many years ago. I think he might have been one of the first Corpse Bride action figures I got. Made by McFarlane Toys, the figure is of good quality with details.

TNBC - An Animated Flip Book

The Nightmare Before Christmas - An Animated Flip Book, published by The Walt Disney Company in 1993. This is the first edition. Flipping the pages one way shows Jack cutting out a paper snowflake and flipping the other way you can see Santa Jack giving the child a present. I bought this one also via FB from another collector and paid about 7€ for this including shipping. The book is in good condition eventhough it is almost 25 years old.

Corpse Bride - An Animated Flip Book

Corpse Bride - An Animated Flip Book, make in 2005 by Warner Bros. I bought this one from another Tim Burton collector via a Facebook group. I paid about 7€ for this including shipping.
           If you flip the pages quickly you can see the Corpse Bride walking up a hill in the forest, turn the booklet around and it has info and still photos of the movie and the characters. Size of the book is quite small, 13,5cm x 8cm x 0,6cm, there are still about 50 pages.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Great Glass Elevator Game

Today I got this Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Great Glass Elevator Game. I bought this from eBay as used, but it is complete with all the parts and it great condition. The boardgame includes a gameboard, 12 door tiles and 54 cards (44 butten cards and 10 Oompa Loompa cards). I paid 30 euros for this one (I also got some other boardgames in the package, so the price was for all of them with shipping). The game was made by Funrise Toys.

Ed Wood Laserdisc

Today I received Ed Wood laserdisc which I bought from eBay.  I paid about 10 euros for it eventhough I have nothing to play it with, but it's not like I'm collecting these things to use or play with.

TNBC Operation

The Nightmare Before Christmas Operation -boardgame. This is made by USAopoly in 2011. The game has "an operating table" with Oogie Boogie on it and holes around for picking plastic items out with tweezers without touching the metal sides. Oogie speaks if you fail, the lines are:

"Come on Bone Daddy!"
"I might just die laughing, buahhahaahaa"
"Now look what you have done, my bugs, my bugs, my bugs!"
"Oh I'm really scared!"
"Well, well, well what have we here"

with green lights flashing in his mouth and eyes as he talks. The game also includes play money, doctor and specialist cards 24 altogether and 12 plastic funatomy parts.

I got this as a xmas present in 2011 and I did play it once, but the game offers no challenge to adults as it is really easy to get the items out.

TNBC Chill Mug

The Nightmare Before Christmas purple chill mug filled with glitter and water. The mug is plastic and the point is that you can but the mug in the freezer and then it keeps your drink cold for longer. I got this as a x-mas present in 2009 or so.

Sweeney Todd - Deluxe Package Soundtrack

Sweeney Todd soundtrack CD, deluxe package with 80-page colour booklet (containing pictures, lyrics, credits and a short biography of Stephen Sondheim) and the cd, all in cardboard package.
  I bought this from eBay many years ago.

Edward Scissorhands postcard

I bought this Edward Scissorhands postcard from London in 2012. Can't remember the shop I found this from but we bought a bunch of movie postcards at the same time, my husband got for example postcards of Jaws, Nosferatu, Taxidriver, Alien and Leatherface. I plan on decorating one wall in our bedroom with these framed postcards.

Albert from Corpse Bride

Albert -action figure from Corpse Bride. Series 2 and made by McFarlane Toys. I got this as new from eBay in around 2008-2009. This series of figures by McFarlane are quite good quality, they all fit their stands and are nicely detailed and well made. Unfortunately along the years my Albert figure has lost the other half of his moustache, maybe I will buy a new one someday. Otherwise he is in great condition. Cannot remember the price anymore but I guess it was around 20€.

TNBC Soundtrack CD

The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack CD with holographic cover image from 2006.
This is a double cd, disc one with music from the movie and disc two with bonus tracks by Marilyn Manson, Fall Out Boy, Fiona Apple, She Wants Revenge and Panic! At The Disco. There are also some demo songs by Danny Elfman.
I have had this for years so I got no idea where I found this but, again, probably from eBay.

Scary Jack Bobblehead

Scary Jack bobblehead made by NECA. Approximately 7" tall (~20cm). Jack is partially hiding behind a tombstone at the pumpkin patch. My husband found this for me from Jyväskylä probably in 2012 or so.

Jack Skellington Button Badge Pack

I got this Jack Skellington button badge pack as a gift some years ago. I don't buy this kind of accessories myself but since someone gave these to me I will keep them as a part of my collection.  Diameter of these badges is 38mm and the pack has 4 badges of Jack's faces with different expressions. These are made by Pyramid International.

Jack & Zero Pewter Lamp by NECA

Jack & Zero pewter lamp by NECA. I bought this via FB second hand group and it had been modified, the wires were removed as well as the lamp so now this only works as a statue. It is quite heavy because of the material. I can't recall how much I paid for this but I guess it was about 30€, I do remember picking it up because the seller either lived or visited the city I live in.

Then back to the older items again. Corpse Bride soundtrack CD. I have got this for years and can't remember where I found it from, probably from eBay (once again). Nothing special about this, just a basic soundtrack with songs from the movie.

Santa Hand Puppet from 1993

Santa (Sandy Claws) poseable hand puppet. Made in 1993 by Hasbro. I boguht this together with Sally action figure and paid 38€ including shipping for the whole bunch. The box was opened, but the hand puppet has never been removed from the box. Santa has his clothes made of real fabric and he comes with a red and white striped candy cane, he also has a jingle bell attached to his cap.

Sally Action Figure from 1993

I have been buying also something other than just books. Sally action figure, made in 1993 by Hasbro arrived last week. I got this and the Santa via eBay from USA and I paid 38€ including shipping for the both of them. Sally is unopened and also the box is in good condition. Quality of the figure is not the best but I still want to get these old action figures to my collection. Her head, arms and legs are posable and removable,  she comes with a stand and a sewing kit bag. The series has 10 different characters available.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Whipple-Scrumptious Joke Book

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Whipple-Scrumptious Joke Book. Published by Puffin Books in 2005. This paperback contains lot of jokes around the themes and scenes of the story.
I got this from eBay for about 5€ and it came from the UK.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Storybook, a paperback published by Puffin Books in 2005. "An abridged vesrion of the original best-loved story". The storybook has photos of the movie and colourful illustrations. The one I got was in great condition and cost me about 6€.

Batman Returns - The Official Movie Book

Batman Returns - The Official Movie Book by Michael Singer. Also a paperback and published by Octopus Illustrated Publishing in 1992. The book has foreword by Tim Burton, illustrations, movie stills, behind the scenes material and some history of Batman.
Got this one also from eBay for about 5 euros.

New items again!
Got some great books from eBay last week but I was on a roadtrip to the Baltics so couldn't update them here earlier.

First one up is Batman - The Official Book of the Movie by John Marriot. This paperback is published by Bantam Books in 1989. This one is in great condition and I got it for about 5 euros.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children DVD

I finally got this DVD. I found it from huuto.net for 6,50 euros.
