Virgin Film Series: Tim Burton paperback. Written by Jim Smith & J Clive Matthews, published by Virgin Books in 2007. I found this from a bookstore in Tallinn, Estonia probably in 2011. Can't remember the price anymore.

Burton on Burton - Finnish version

Burton on Burton paperback in Finnish. Written by Mark Salisbury and published by Like in 2000. I bought this book from a local second hand bookstore for 5€.

Burton on Burton - Revised Edition

I got this one back in 2013 from a local second hand bookstore for 5 euros. Burton on Burton Revised edition, published by Faber & Faber in 2006. The book is paperback, edited by Mark Salisbury and foreword by Johnny Depp. The book includes also some movie stills, illustrations and drawing by Tim Burton and behind the scenes photos, all in black and white.

The Napkin Art of Tim Burton

And I also got this in mail yesterday. The Napkin Art of Tim Burton - Things you think about in a bar. I bought this via eBay and it came from Hong Kong, luckily it did not get stuck in customs. I paid 25€ including shipping.
     This book has sketches and drawings by Tim Burton - all of them made on napkins. Different colours, couple fold-out pages, he has used stains to draw something around them, even cocktail cherries are included in some of the artwork! There is also couple familiar characters from his movies for example Jack Skellington and Sally. The book is hardcover.

Tim Burton: Interviews

I got this book as a birthday present from my parents in 2014 but since I am renewing some posts to make this blog more clear here's a new post about this book.
       The book is paperback, edited by Kristian Fraga and published in 2005 by University Press of Mississippi. This is the first edition.
       This includes a good chronology of Tim Burton's career and filmography. Interviews with Mr. Burton by several interviewers are collected in this book. There are interviews from 1988 to 2003 conserning several of his movies.

The Films of Tim Burton

Few months ago I got this book about Tim Burton's movies written by Alison McMahan. Starting from Burton's early work on television to the movie Corpse Bride. This book was published in 2005 so the latest movies are missing.

Tim Burton's Holiday Card Set

I'm really behind with updating this blog, but since I have rest of the week off from work I have time to do my best updating my blogs.
      This was actually a birthday present (so I got this already in February) from my husband. There is two of these postcard sets on sale and I had wished for either one. The one I got is the Holiday Edition with X-massy cards, other one is Valentine's Edition with love themed postcards.

The set comes in a box with the same cover picture as The Art of Tim Burton books. There are six different illustrations, two pieces of each so 12 postcards altogether and the envelopes for every one of them. Also each of them is folded so you could write your greetings inside. As a collector I will never use these, but I still had to have them.

New Tim Burton book

I got two books about Tim Burton himself as a birthday present from my parents. And here's the first one: Tim Burton by Antoine De Baecque. It is hardcover and published by Phaidon Press Limited in 2013. The book tells backgrounds of the movies with movie stills, behind the scenes photos and sketches by Tim Burton.

So here we are, after this post you have seen it all. For now on I'll post everytime I get something new to my collection. Actually while writing these I've gotten new stuff but I thought they need to be shown after I have finished this. My shopping happens in waves - there's time when I'm buying lots and lots of new figurines and then for some time I won't buy any. I also have this "tradition" when I go abroad I buy new stuff for my collection as souveniers. I don't want to buy those typical souveniers and it's much nicer to look at these movie products and remember where I have bought them.

Finally it's done! I was suprised how much it took time to post pictures of every item here. Well of course I had to edit each and every photo and write these texts. Hope this was interesting even to other collectors :) Here's also one interview I found on YouTube:

The Art of Tim Burton (Second Deluxe Edition)

I had a long thought about where to start and I ended up showing you my greatest treasure: The Art of Tim Burton Deluxe Edition book. Since you might know there are five different editions of this book  each of them with different lithograph. I have only managed to get this one because these are not cheap, about 300-500€. The one I have is Second Edition with the "Blue Girl with Wine" lithograph. I bought this via eBay a couple years ago. Both the lithograph as well as the book itself has been signed and hand-numbered by Tim Burton. My book is number 703/1000.
