Sally - Poseable Doll

Then again something complitely new! I just visited the post office and came back home with 5 packages of which 4 was Tim Burton items! So the following post will be about these items. And of course there is Edward Scissorhands movie playing in the background while I'm writing these!

The first one I will show you is Sally - Poseable Doll with Sewing Kit by Applause. The doll comes in coffin shaped box which is 33cm high. The doll is about 30cm tall. Her clothes are real fabric and her hair is made from threads. The face looks a bit odd, but otherwise this doll is pretty okay. There is also a sewing kit included with some thread and piece of cloth similar to Sally's dress.

I bought this via eBay from Germany and it cost me 19€ including the shipping.

Jack Skellington in Lavender Coffin

Yesterday I picked this up from the post-office and I'm so happy to have it in my collection! Jack Skellington collection doll in lavender purple coffin N-125 by JUN Planning. I found this from eBay by chance and got it for about 38€ because the seller had not mentioned TNBC at all in the item description.
      The Jack Skellington doll in this coffin box has hic mouth open with quite neutral expression on his face. He has the classic black and white outfit on (actual fabric) with no extra accessories. His limbs are poseable. The box I got has been on a display in direct sunlight for some time because the front cover is light pink and the interior lavender purple as the whole box should be, you can see the difference in the photos below. The box is about 43cm tall and the Jack himself 40cm tall.

James and the Giant Peach - Centipede

Oh my gosh! I have been jumping and dancing around here the whole evening because today I went to post office to pick up THIS: James and the Giant Peach - Centipede collection doll by JUN Planning! It was made in 1996 when the movie came out and the prices have lately been around 40-100€ including shipping for these on eBay. I got this for 18 euros!! Yes, including the shipping costs. I bought via eBay from a seller located in Ireland and it arrived really quickly. It was acutally an auction on eBay and I stayed awake till 1am to make sure I would get this.
       The doll comes in a box, measured about 43cm tall and the doll himself is about 35cm tall including the antennas. Nicely detailed with clothes and hat made of fabric. His limbs are all poseable. Great item, so thrilled to have this in my collection!

Pajama Jack Collection Doll

Souveniers again! I just came back home from a 9-day vacation in Berlin and I have to admit I visited probably every comicbook store in that city. Unfortunately (and also unsurprisingly) there was very few items available for my collection.
    Luckily anyway there was a one shop that had The Nightmare Before Christmas figurines and dolls made by Diamond Select Toys which is a new name for me. There were a few "regular sized" figures that were not the best quality and then there were two of these coffin Jacks. Of course I had to get one of them since they look pretty good and the clothes are actual fabric.

The one I got is Pajama Jack and he's 40cm tall (the coffin box is 43cm tall). The pajamas are real fabric and there is also a plastic "The Scientific Method" book included. This is limited edition and there's a certificate of authenticity the one I got is numbered 19/1993 (I actually just opened the box now and noticed this, so I didn't know about this when buying). Corpse Bride & Victor & Scraps by JUN Planning Co.

Ni Hao & Namaste! I'm back home from the honeymoon in India and China. Me and my husband spent almost three weeks in Asia visiting Taj Mahal and the Great Wall -  two of the seven world wonders. Anyways I will write more about the trip in my personal blog and now I am here just to show you what I got as a souvenier for myself from Beijing, China.

I did a bit of a search before departure and found out that there should be one shop that sells movie merchandise at this one mall in Beijing. Well when we found the right mall and went in I realised that there was a whole floor just for videogame/movie/anime merhandise! Althought the non-anime you could find there was mostly stuff about Walking Dead, Alien, Predator and such. Only Tim Burton figures I saw were one Jack Skellington figure and Sleepy Hollow Ichabod Crane collectible in 1/6 scale. The Sleepy Hollow figure has actually been on my wishlist for ages, but since it was expensive I left it there. But luckily in one shop I saw this, on the top self with a bit dust on - a coffin shaped box with text Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. So that was the one I took home with me and here are the pictures and details about it.

Height of the box is 55,5cm

The set includes Emily, Victor, Scraps and Emily's bouquet.

They both have clothes made of actual fabrics. Also hands and legs are movable. I haven't took them out of the box, so that is why there are plastic bands over their faces.
